Official Tennis Rating
Eligible official singles results move your Tennis Rating according to the result and the strength of your opponent. A win against a stronger player is worth more. Walkovers do not change the rating.

Validated results update the relevant Pickleball rating according to the result and opponent strength. Tournament progress also earns placement points, while singles and doubles records remain separate.

A completed regular match can earn +2 PLAY. A completed challenge earns +1 MENTAL, whatever format you choose. A first meeting may also earn +1 CONNECT.
Maximum +20 total per month · MENTAL capped at +3 · no duplicate award.Official competition remains decisive. CTL Play bonuses reward regular activity but never replace tournament results, never change the official rating and remain separated by sport.

CTL sets the competition and round deadlines. You and your opponent choose where and when to play.
Where do we play?
There is no fixed tournament venue. Agree on a suitable court for the selected sport and arrange the booking together.
How do we agree on a date?
Open your match in your player space, propose a date, time and court, and confirm the arrangement together before the round deadline.
How much court time should we book?
Book enough time to complete the full published format in one session and arrive ready to start at the agreed time. A personal time limit known before the match is not a reason to stop early. If an unforeseen interruption occurs, save the exact score and agree together on a continuation before the round deadline; contact CTL if you cannot agree.
What if we cannot agree before the deadline?
Contact CTL before the deadline so the organiser can review the situation. Do not assume an extension or a walkover.
What happens after the match?
Submit the score through your player space. Once validated, an eligible official result updates the ranking for that sport; CTL Play matches and challenges use the separate capped bonus system explained above.
Are archived results lost?
No. Archived tournaments retain their official results and ranking contributions under the applicable season rules.
